Janet Macpherson studied ceramics at Sheridan College, and earned her MFA at The Ohio State University. She has exhibited extensively in Canada and the United States, and was the 2013 recipient of the Winifred Shantz Award for Ceramics. In 2017, the Gardiner Museum presented the solo exhibition Janet Macpherson: A Canadian Bestiary. Janet’s work is in the collection of the Gardiner Museum and the Burlington Arts Centre. She lives and works in Hamilton, Ontario.
