Yumiko Katsuya’s work is exquisite in beauty and is described as having a peaceful quality to them. With a passion for creating functional art wares, Yumiko creates each piece with utmost care and utilizes a crystalline glaze on the surface of her works. Fired at a high temperature, the glaze forms crystal-like formations which pool on the surface, giving the surface an ethereal quality. Both decorative and functional, each piece is hand made and will have slightly vary in colour, pattern, size and weight.
Care & Use: All pieces are liquid safe and are to be washed by hand
