Description

Lisa Gwen Robbins is inspired by both cymatic patterns and the PHI Greek symbol.  Made in small batches with hand coloured clay, she forms soft slabs to hand build the form.  The patterns are then decorated on the surface using hand made custom designed stencils, silkscreens, and stamps.  As a result, a dazzling effect is formed.

Please note: There is two patterns available.  Please specify in the order notes the pattern preferred while supplies last.

Care & Use: Platters are not microwave, oven safe or dishwasher safe.  Please hand wash item carefully with soap and water.

About The Artist

Lisa Gwen Robbins

Lisa Gwen Robbins is a Toronto based ceramic artist and graduate from Sheridan's Craft and Design program. She has a background in graphic design and a history of varied interests including photography, glass, iron and fiber art. She can be found enrolled in workshops, enthralled in internet research and podcasts or playing in her studio. Lisa has won several awards for her design and technical innovations; and hopes to continue to push the boundaries between craft and art in her exploration of materials, process and inspirational focus. Lisa has taught several workshops and pottery classes. She always enjoys the opportunity to share ideas and inspiration that come from the arts community. She continues to create work that challenges and excites her and hopes to share, exhibit, and teach the arts and craft she loves.
