I enjoy making large coiled vessels the most. There is a calming, meditative way of working large and using coils. I also enjoy throwing and will soon be attempting to use a Korean Onggi wheel, which is a non-electric pottery wheel used for creating large vessels. My inspiration comes mostly from the ancient potters and ancient techniques used all over the world. – Kathy Verbeek
Care & Use: The vessels are meant to be decorative objects. Kathy’s favourite way of using her pieces is by displaying sticks and branches.
