In 2019 during my maternity leave, I discovered polymer clay and taught myself how to use it and its properties. One year later Adé is born. It is an ode to my Beninese origins and a celebration of diversity. Inspired by my African roots, the visual arts and ceramics, I explore shapes, colors and materials to create original objects. Care & Use: To ensure longevity for your jewelry, please handle with care. While polymer clay is a flexible and solid material do not bend the piece. Avoid wearing foundation and in case of stains clean with either alcohol or acetone with a cotton pad. It is advised to store your jewelry separately to avoid scratches or marks.
Material: The earrings are made of polymer clay, the rear studs are made of titanium and nickel-free wrapped in the polymer clay making it secure, and the clasps are silver with a rubber interior to secure the earrings.
