Tile Painting: What’s in a Letter?

February 25, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Did you know that the letters of the alphabet were created based on things they looked like? This Family Sunday, we’ll uncover the history of letters and the meanings behind them, then paint what we find on clay. You’ll be surprised to discover that some letters still resemble the objects they were named after. Can you guess which letter was inspired by a monkey? (Hint: It comes after ‘P’).

Admission is free for visitors 18 and under every day!*

*Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and each accompanying adult must purchase a general admission ticket. Children cannot be left unattended at any time.
