Tile Painting: A Rose By Any Other Name
May 26, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Photographer Glenn Lewis’ new exhibition, The Poetic Process, fills our lobby with photographs and ceramic tiles featuring beautiful, blooming roses. How many different kinds of roses do you see? Which colour combinations do you like best? Would they all smell the same, or would each one have its own unique scents? Come to the Laura Dinner and Richard Rooney Community Clay Studio this Sunday and get inspired by roses and their vibrant colours. After looking at all the blooms showcased in our lobby, we’ll be making coasters inspired by the artist’s ceramic tiles.
Admission is free for visitors 18 and under every day!*
