It’s time to get out of the house and into the studio. Tweens and teens will make functional, sculptural, and decorative pieces on the pottery wheel in this 4-week summer workshop taught by OCAD University grad Danica Drago.

Dates: July 31, August 7, August 14, August 21

  • 4 sessions

  • Beginner to advanced
  • Earthenware clay
  • Wheel throwing
  • 70 commercial brushing glazes

Health & Safety

  • Our class sizes have been reduced and the distance between participants at tables and wheels has been increased to allow for physical distancing
  • You must wear a mask during class
  • A COVID screening questionnaire must be filled out before each class
  • Studios are sanitized between classes
  • Hand sanitizer is available for your use
  • If you want to use an apron, please bring one from home. Alternatively, you can purchase a disposable apron for $1
  • There are no make-up classes. Please make sure the course you choose works with your schedule.

Danica Drago

Danica Drago is an artist, maker and educator from Etobicoke. Graduating from the Material Art & Design program at OCAD University, Danica's practice as a tool and object maker investigates the ways in which art, design, and craft intersect, by creating functional objects that interact with the body and the spaces around us.
