Clay Activity: Make It Personal

April 21, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Have you visited the exhibition Ai Weiwei: Unbroken? The artist combines old traditions with new symbols and art forms to create incredible objects. Just outside the exhibition hall, you can find a display case of work by Toronto-based sculptor Nurielle Stern. Nurielle’s small, personal ceramic objects respond to Ai Weiwei’s large-scale works. Join us in the Laura Dinner and Richard Rooney Community Clay Studio to create your own personalized objects using shapes and imprints of symbols that represent your dreams and goals.

Ceramic art by Nurielle Stern

Admission is free for visitors 18 and under every day!*

*Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and each accompanying adult must purchase a general admission ticket. Children cannot be left unattended at any time.
