Clay Activity: Animals of the Zodiac

December 29, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Did you notice the big goat sculpture in the lobby? Part of the exhibition David R. Harper: Zodiac, this artwork represents the Western astrological sign of Capricorn. What’s your Western zodiac sign? You also have an Eastern zodiac sign, which is determined by the year in which you were born. We’re currently in the year of the dog, but will be heading into the year of the pig in 2019. Recreate your Western or Eastern zodiac sign (or both) out of clay with the help of our potters and volunteers. While you’re here, be sure grab a map and visit all three floors of the Museum to find the twelve zodiac installations by David R. Harper.
